FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

the PIECES

What does Grogg Studio make?
We handbuild ceramic stoneware art pieces: platters, vessels, bowls and sculptural pieces in our studio in Sydney, Australia. Nothing is made to be purely functional. Each piece is made to be both looked at and lived with.

Are your pieces food-safe?
Yes, unless the listing says otherwise. If a particular glaze isn't food-safe, it’s mentioned clearly in the description so you know before you buy.

How do I care for my piece?
These pieces are made to be lived with, not kept behind glass. Oil, wine, sage smudges, candle heat and wax, all fine and welcome. Big temperature changes can lead to pieces cracking. Dishwasher is fine but best to handwash delicate pieces.

ORDERING & Shipping

When will my item ship?
In-stock pieces ship within 24 hours, delivery via Australia Post. If your item is ‘Made to Order’ or ‘Preorder’, refer to the item description for shipping timeframe.

Can I pick up my order?
Yes, pickup is available from the studio in Botany, Sydney. Choose pickup at checkout and we'll be in touch to arrange a time that suits.

Do you offer gift wrapping?
Every piece is beautifully wrapped as standard. If you'd like to include a personal note with a gift, just put your message in the order notes at checkout.

Returns & Damages

Do you accept returns or exchanges?
As every piece is one-of-one, we don't offer returns or exchanges for change of mind.

What if my piece arrives damaged?

info@grogg.studio within 5 days of it arriving and we'll get it sorted. We require evidence of damaged items and will supply a return label for them to be shipped back.
